This is the perfect job for anyone who loves nothing better than to stay in shape and remain active throughout the day. Besides having a job that a person can enjoy almost every day, it pays relatively well. On average, a fitness worker makes nearly double what a server or a bartender will make. They make quite a bit more than a hair stylist or esthetician make as well. Just about anyone who wants to become a fitness worker can make quite a decent living, especially once they have had a few years of experience and who have remained with the same business for a few years. Becoming a fitness worker does require some education, training and certification before a person can take such a job. These requirements are probably one of the biggest reasons that people in this customer service job tend to get paid more than in other ones, such as the ones previously mentioned.

There are both health and monetary benefits on top of the rate of pay offered for people employed as fitness workers. There is, of course, the chance that a person who has been employed with the same store for a long enough period of time can earn a substantial raise. There are also opportunities for these people who gain experience to be promoted to a supervisor or managerial job that usually offers more pay than what they were making when they were a fitness instructor. They could even end up managing their own store if they did well enough and the pay can be excellent by this point. Either way, the pay is actually quite decent, even for someone who has just finished their education and is just starting out as a fitness worker. Anyone interested enough in this will love the job because besides giving them the opportunity to remain fit and active throughout the day, the money they make is almost completely worth the education and certification that they had to get first.

This, like any other job, is not for everyone, but there are many people out there who love to do this sort of thing for a living. As mentioned before, the pay is actually quite good and is what first draws people into this particular customer service job. So, even people who may only go into it until they find something else that might interest them more, might end up staying with it and calling it their career. It is a relatively easy one to turn into a career for anyone who likes to do this sort of thing, not to mention the satisfaction that many of these employees get from helping their customers get into the shape that they want. This is not a job for the faint of heart, or for those who are only looking for the money. While it is decent pay, especially for the more experienced, it is a lot of work and a person has to have the energy to do such a thing. Of course, for someone already in shape it might not be too terribly difficult to get used to.
