Call Center Representative Jobs description
A call center representative is responsible for making outbound calls or receiving incoming calls from customers. The typical duties of a call center representative include calling up on available leads; explaining the various products available for sale; convincing the customer to buy product; fixing up appointments for sales executives; handling objections from customers; taking customer details; closing the sale; providing customers with necessary information and solving the problems faced by customers. A call center representative typically reports to a call center manager.A call center representative should have an associate\'s degree or a bachelor\'s degree. Excellent customer service skills are a key trait for a call center representative position. Prior experience as a call center representative is beneficial. Fluency in English is essential. Bilingual skills may be advantageous for some positions. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel may be required.
