TeleTech Holdings, one of the largest global providers of business process outsourcing, will add about 250 customer service and notebook technical support positions before the end of 2008. The hires will bring the company's total work force in Springfield, Missouri to 950, the company said.

The new employees will provide customer management or notebook technical support for clients in banking and computer manufacturing, respectively. Telemarketing services are not currently conducted from this location.

Clayton Cooper, site director of the Springfield facility, said “TeleTech has been thriving in Springfield and we look forward to continued growth in this vibrant community."
