Director Patient Financial Services and Customer Service
Lead all patient-facing aspects of Inova Health System's Patient Financial Services, ensuring clients receive excellent customer service as they interact with staff throughout our revenue cycle. Oversee call center and strategic use of technologies to support patient communications and collection efforts. The Director will be challenged to continuously transform the delivery of patient financial services as a key member of a revenue cycle leadership team dedicated to evolving with the changing healthcare marketplace and resulting complex contracting strategies that impact our patients. Works closely with other revenue functional areas including patient access, hospital and physician billing, cash posting, reimbursement, payer contracting, utilization management and coding.
Understanding of health care revenue cycle front-end, middle and back-end processes preferred 5 years progressive leadership in customer collections, call center, or equivalent experience required.
Experience in a complex healthcare organization.
Bachelor's Degree or 8 years' of equivalent experience in a patient financial services' management role.
