SUMMARY: This positions primary responsibility for managing the relationship between the customer and the Supply Chain with respect to their assigned accounts. This process begins with the placement of an order and continues through receipt of final payment for that order by vendor managing of customers ordering systems (Retail Link).

There are daily deadlines that must be adhered to in the customers ordering systems. Customer VMI reports will be analyzed daily to assist in the ordering process and maintain goals set by the customer.

Daily tasks consist of the following: Monitor customer inventories; verifying receipt of deliveries; tracking late trucks; managing daily CPU information; prompt resolution to shipment discrepancies at the DC and working through product rejections. There is a high level of accountability to the customer for in stocks, DC turns and service levels that are to be maintained. Requires open communication across functional teams i.e. production, sales, and transportation.

Various responsibilities will include resolving pricing issues, resolving deductions, working to maximize truck weight for freight optimization and other duties as needed. Weekend and holiday rotation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Requires knowledge of high school subject matter such as mathematics, grammar, office equipment, and business practices. Knowledge is normally acquired by four years of high school, a vocational school, or equivalent.

Experience: 3 years previous customer service, co-managed (VMI) experience and/or Tyson experience is preferred.

Computer Skills: Requires strong Excel other spreadsheet applications which include V-look ups, and formulas. Knowledge of Tyson's internal systems such as SAP, AFE, and/or Production Planning are considered a plus when applying for this position. Additionally, skills in customer owned order management systems (i.e. Retail Link, Workbench and VMRS) are highly preferred.
