Description

The Agency Management Representative 3 assists producers by answering commission questions and inquiries by analyzing transactions posted to the general ledger within the agency management system, and determines the need for any system and/or ledger updates for accruals, prepaid, and adjusting updates or entries. The Agency Management Representative 3 performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

The Agency Management Representative 3 provides financial support for analyzing variations from budget for agency management reporting. Engages with the producers and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services/Department of Insurance regulations specific to them if there are concerns related to missing or incomplete commissions. Performs audits related to commission payments that include system adjustments that need to be appropriately tied to transaction codes to systematically create the proper entries to the general ledger. Analyzes and interprets Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Department of Insurance regulations to establish required appointment fees for producers to ensure we are compliant when solicitation and selling of our products occur. Ensures compliance, making sure to not over appoint due to the related administrative expense. Decisions typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma

1 - 3 years of finance and customer service experience

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Experience completing accounting procedures or financial analysis/reporting with healthcare data
