Customer Service Sales Representative Jobs description
The typical duties of a customer service representative are to greet customers cheerfully; provide quality assistance to all customers; ensure customer satisfaction to improve on customer loyalty; keep up to date on the various products of the given company; cross-sell and up-sell those products; adhere to company policies relating to customer service; help the organization reduce customer service time so as to reduce wait-times; process paperwork and maintain records on a computer; participate actively in training and promotional programs; update customers on new products and discounts; and ultimately, build a strong rapport with customers so as to facilitate repeat sales.A customer service representative may also be referred to as a customer support representative (CSR), customer service executive, sales executive, account executive, retail executive, senior sales representative, inside sales representative, customer service desk clerk, etc. These positions typically require a high school diploma. Prior sales or customer service experience may also help.
