It is definitely not a job for everyone, but it is a relatively easy one to get into for anyone looking for a job to cover them while they go to school or until they find the job they are looking for. What people often make the mistake of is that a job as a server can be something that caple out there who have been serving tables for about twenty years because they love the job.
