Customer Service Assistant Jobs
A customer service assistant position may be available with a retail store, call center, customer service department, shopping mall, theater or any company in the service sector. A customer service assistant is principally responsible for assisting customers on service issues and solving their problems. Specific duties of a customer service assistant position include greeting customers, understanding their problems related to the product or service, interpreting the reason or cause behind the problem, informing the concerned department or person, processing customer's requests, providing customers with feedback or necessary information, ensuring that the customer's problem is solved or request is fulfilled and performing other tasks assigned by a customer service officer.
A customer service assistant should have a high school diploma or an associate's degree. Excellent customer service skills are a key trait for a customer service assistant position. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel may be required.
